A short girl walks small in a world of tall people.
5 ‘ 6 is about average.
Her confidence stands at 4 ‘ 2.
true height is never physical 🙂
This short poem speaks volumes to me, you know. ❤
May her confidence grow as she discovers the seed of greatness that is only now gestating within.
Sometimes you have to “fake it till you make it”! Short people can seem powerful if they appear to others to be confident.. I agree that size is not necessarily important. 🙂
I wish her confidence would stand taller… I think there are many tall that need their confidence to be lowered.
in her journeying, she will grow in confidence
mama was only 4′ 11″… she would have liked this
I was a shortie in a family of tall people and had the confidence of an ashtray. Amazing how tall life helped me become… God added a few inches for sure! short verse, very long on content. Volumes. Amy
I want to hug her.
I am 5’1 and my husband is 6’4. You painted this image-well~ I love what Gillena said, “…she will grow in confidence.”= Well done
At 5’3 I’ve never had any problem with self-confidence.
You measured out insecurity beautifully here. 🙂

Soft, Breathless Kisses. Waves Rocking Our boat. Four heartbeats, Four waves, Four knots. Dancing On top Of the waves. 2 lovers, 2 oars, 4 eternity. With The sound Of the sea Pulsing in our ears And The red glowing sunset ahead, We’ll sail on.
It’s never going to be. It just was. The dreams she had Have been eternally frozen. It was always going to be, Though it was far too soon. And I only see her now In moments unchosen.
