My life – TB

31 Mar

If not a page turner,
Then maybe a flick book.
Skip through all the sad bits
Straight to the carefree moments.
Then use it as a coffee coaster
Or as a pack, to stabilise that wonky table.
As it grows it can even be used
As a foot stool for the little one
And then as a ladder to reach
The very top shelf of the bookcase.

I like the idea of life being this malleable, our stories being this adaptable. It would have a saddening poem if it weren’t for this change of the essential things about you into something useful for the others. I like it muchly. Especially you becoming a ladder.

    Kiss.
