Purgatory waiting – TB

21 Mar

Shall I take you through?
No, don’t worry, no need to.
But it’s dark and you won’t find your way.
It’s no problem, it’s OK.
Go through the door and it’s on your right.
Down the corridor, past the fright, and then right.
Knock knock, knock knock, are you busy?
No, just the person I wanted to see.
Why is it that you’ve called me in?
The time has come, dear Mickey Finn.
What’s the diagnosis and what’s next?
It’s definitely terminal but we can’t say yet.
Please take a seat out in the dark
And wait for the verdict of our Czar.

A fun cadence despite the challenging topic, which makes this a compelling read.
