Stirred hearts – TB

18 Mar

My love,
No emotional love,
30 minutes of devotional love, for you.
I get very little societal love.
I have love for the road and all street corners,
No love for those big nasties that chase me away.
Love for the warmer weather,
No love for standing in torrents of rain, waiting…
The pain of love is when I’m not paid,
When those love notes, 10 pound notes, don’t fall into my hand
And I’m left, feeling unloved, sitting at the side of the road.

What a fantastic poem. ❤ It reminds me of the mood in Orhan Veli's poetry, which I read in your poem about the king first time here and never wanted to leave. If you're part of the 99% you probably know society isn't saving much love for us.

    Kiss.
