In whose arms – TB

18 Feb

The fun has fled,
Since countless have bled.
A backward glance
To look
Who’s still with us.
The fool has gone
But, for now, the lunacy continues.
A nation tries to unlearn its past,
Finally.
Distanced voices humming
Are unable to stop the questions???
And exclamations!!!
Meanwhile,
Opaque fights back,
And generals blur at the edges.
From where,
in the end,
Will our next hero appear?!?!

This poem has incredible meter. Nicely done!

I like it when your poetry gets political, it just makes me sad that not many people are able to see beyond the words and read meaning from your subtlety. Your view is unique.

I’ll share my article on Heroes, the one I mentioned when we talked.

Take care and keep writing. :*
